Born in the Alleghenies

The Allegheny Appalachians were home to my family on my Dad's side since the mid 1700's so they are in my heart and in my blood. As a writer, I thought how much I would love to share the stories of my ancestors. This blog idea was born out of that desire. I'm not sure where to take this yet but I think I'll just let it unfold. Maybe a story about the first immigrants in my family who came to America would be a good start.
